Canvas Nightclub Review

Canvas brings a touch of elegance to one of the hippest parts of town.

When you first enter Canvas, no matter how busy it is, it usually looks empty, keep going. On your way in take some time and notice the art on the walls, which is all for sale, as the all white ultra lounge seconds as an art gallery.

Canvas is another venue I always recommend bottle service as its bar areas are usually both packed and semi awkward, but if for some reason you don't have bottle service then get your first drink at the first bar because the next one is nearly impossible to get through to.

When you make your way through the small top level area and work your way down the stairs you immediately hit the dance floor, if you are up for a crowded, dancing back to back with a few hundred people, in a real sexy spot then Canvas on a busy night is exactly what you want. You will find it very tough to be amongst the dance floor room and just hang out, actually forget that, you will find it impossible, because it fills up like nothing you've ever seen.

If you look back towards the staircase, then to the right, you will see the purple glow of their roped off, sunken VIP room, which is bottle service only. You won't have to worry about impressing anyone in here tonight though....you're drinking at the bar.

Bottle Service:
Bottle service at Canvas is bittersweet, its great because you get access to the much less crowded VIP room, and you can actually get drinks without fighting through 94 people and getting half a liter of vodka spilled on you, but at the same time because you are in a VIP, bottle service only room, its is kind of an empty atmosphere and you are away from 94% of the club. In other words, if you are buying bottles tonight to show off, maybethe VIP room at Canvas isn't for you. You can also choose from a few areas on the top floor which pretty much forces everyone that enters the club to walk past you, jealously as they approach the bar for their first drink.

Canvas' Hottest Night:
Solid and PI Entertainment have their new First Class Friday. The people are sexy, the music is amazing, and Canvas is the perfect venue for the combination, I'll see you by the DJ booth, but bring me a couple Vodka and Red Bulls so I don't have to get to the bar!
